ABOUT CTP

THE CENTRE OF TRAINING & PLACEMENT (CTP) being the structurised unit of the college provides :

TRAINING

Intensive training from confidence building to professional enrichment to suit the corporate necessities. Considering the need of corporate sectors, to accomodate professional brains as Business manager and IT executive ; all training programmes are systematically scheduled with effective coverage.
The broad coverage includes :

i) In-campus programmes :

a) Personality development sessions
b) Leadership training & e-learing
c) Weekly seminar participation
d) Communication skill development packages
e) Identification & handling of cases
f) Placement training includes Resume writing, Interview skill & mock tests.
g) Spoken English sessions
h) Talent search, Recognition & Reward
i) Report writing & presentation techniques
j) Body language and aptitude development

ii) Off-Campus Programmes

a) Industrial visit and intraction with executives for building corporate exposure - During First year

b) Industrial Tour to other states with individual assignments to aware the reflection of theory in practice following report writing, during 2nd year.

c) Industrial training, in association with renowned training centres of the nation ; to ensure professional involvement, self appraisal & confidence building. Generally it streches one/two weeks and separate certificate shall be awarded on successful completion.

d) Summer project training: This is mandatory as per the course curriculum and each student need to undergo four weeks intensive training in different industry/business house/IT sectors. After completion they have to submit the project report which includes 100 marks in the syllabus of the course.

e) Opportunity to avail the guidence for participating seminars/symposium/conferences etc. conducted by the eminent organisations of the state & beyond.

f) Placement training participation conducted by associate organisations, consultancy organisations etc.

PLACEMENT

This centre works to provide placement services to its students in associate corporate sectors and beyond. For this the students are trained, nortured and presented with full skill & confidence ; in front of prospective employers.
These activities are segmented as follows :

a) Summer project placement
b) Constitution of employment data bank
c) Institute-Industry interface.
d) Campus recruitment
e) Resume channalisation and interview facilitation.
f) On line corporate contact
g) Publication of placement broucher

All above activities were not oly intiated rather proved its effective coverage during previous year. Steps are being taken towards further polishing of above activities to attain the prime goal of placement. Associate organisations are also involved to give this centre a strategic shape.
